Éric Jourdan

A major figure in French design, Éric Jourdan has established himself since the 1990s through a rigorous practice in the edition of objects and furniture. He has collaborated with numerous publishers and design institutions. From the early days of Ardi, he responded to Kristian Gavoille’s invitation and supported the young house with his precise eye and demanding approach to design. Alongside his work as a designer, he has long been committed to the transmission of design, notably at the Cité du design in Saint-Étienne, of which he is now director.
